A private investment fund—managed by BIP Wealth—created to provide Georgia Tech Baseball with the sustained, structural financial support needed to compete for and win the College World Series.
Georgia Tech Baseball has produced more Major League Baseball players than nearly any program in the country—and yet, year after year, we watch elite programs pull ahead not because of talent, but because of resources. That ends now.
The Randy Carroll Fund is a private investment vehicle—managed at 0% advisory fee by BIP Wealth—that channels capital directly into the GT Baseball program. It was created by a coalition of former GT Baseball players, business executives, and dedicated supporters who believe this program deserves to be perennially elite, not occasionally excellent.
Named in honor of BIP Wealth Chairman Randy Carroll, the fund reflects his lifelong commitment to building institutions—and people—that last. The fund's structure ensures investment returns flow directly to the program and that a permanent corpus remains invested to generate support year after year.
"The standard I have is to play in Omaha and win a national championship. People need to hear that—it's not something we're going to shy away from."James Ramsey · Head Coach, Georgia Tech Baseball
Whether you want to donate outright or invest and donate the proceeds, both paths carry meaningful tax advantages and deliver returns directly to Georgia Tech Baseball.
Membership in the Randy Carroll Fund isn't just financial. It's access to an inner circle of Georgia Tech Baseball—a network of executives, former pros, and dedicated Yellow Jackets who are building something lasting together.
Over the next two months, we'll be hosting a series of educational webinars that walk through the fund's structure, strategy, and how we plan to build a consistently elite program. All sessions are free to attend.

Project Gold Standard is powered by BIP Wealth. Co-founders Mark Buffington and Bill Harris met at Georgia Tech, where both played baseball for the Yellow Jackets. Years later they reconnected and, in 2007, founded BIP together, the firm that today manages the Randy Carroll Fund.
What began on the diamond became a lifelong partnership. That same commitment to Georgia Tech is why BIP manages this fund at zero advisory fee, so the maximum amount of returns goes to the program.
A fund without governance is a fund without trust. The Randy Carroll Fund will handle millions of dollars of other people's money in service of a cause they care deeply about. Governance isn't bureaucracy—it's the system that makes sure the mission never gets compromised and every stakeholder can trust the process.
